About Whaka-Ora Healthy Harbour

Whaka-Ora Healthy Harbour is an organization with the goal of protecting the health of Whakaraupō/Lyttelton. The Harbour is of great cultural and ecological value and there are many ways for both residents and visitors to help care for the harbour, including five minute bird counts. 

Whaka-Ora Healthy Harbour is a partnership between the organizations: Te Hapū o Ngāti Wheke, Te Rūnanga O Ngāi Tahu, Lyttelton Port Company, Environment Canterbury and Christchurch City Council.
